So I have been a fan of MechWarrior since basically I could think. When I was 2 years old (1999) I played my first game ever, and that was MechWarrior 3 on a Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick, and I remember that the first mech I played was actually the Strider. I quickly became addicted to the Timber Wolf and it became basically my spirit animal (if I had one it wouldn't be an animal, it would be a Timber Wolf from MW). Since that time I have been obsessed with MechWarrior. When I was around 8 years old I made it a life goal to one day, collect every retail released MechWarrior game ever, and recently I completed that goal. I have managed to collect every single MechWarrior/Battletech PC that was a retail release. I am however missing a few online games (wish I had the files too) like Multiplayer BattleTech and such (I am on the hunt to get those games and possibly I will make custom boxes for them once I have the files and burn them to a CD or Floppy disc depending on how old they are).
That's an awesome collection, Mech3 is your favorite? I could never get that game to work on my computer :/ As for the online multiplayer game, we have a working version of Mechwarrior 2's NETMECH here on the site if that's what you're looking for, and I manage the Facebook page (not much activity going on).
I managed to get Mech3 working on my windows 10 gaming machine just the other day. Thing is, I think modern day processors are too fast, and so what I ended up seeing was flying tanks (literally). I also run an Nvidia card, which I think works better for Mech3 than AMD (I recall installing mech3 on my amd laptop, and yeah, the graphics didn't work right).
