No Reload Challenge

Post by Bryan »

Has anyone here tried to play the game without dying/failing on hard (if you die/fail you start all over from the beginning), but while also trying to maximize honor points?

I'm going to be trying to do it, I'd be curious as to if others have done it/want to do it, and what scores they can get.

You can take your time with it - not being allowed to die/reload on hard while shooting for a good score can be frustrating. This is the best one I've managed so far:

PILOT: BRYAN PAULSEN
CLAN: Wolf
RANK: Khan
HONOR: 210145
KILLS: 116
HIT%: 82%
LAST MISSION: Trial 4

Only on Trial 2/Cold Crescent did I not get the bonus points for accuracy.

Mechs I used at each mission:
Pyre Light: Firemoth
Flame Tongue: Firemoth
Blade Splint: Nova
Temper Edge: Firemoth
Trial 1: Stormcrow
Sable Flame: Jenner IIC
Burning Chrome: Jenner IIC
Scorching Sand: Nova
Trial 2: Mad Dog
Silver Staff: Nova
Aquiline Fire: Nova
Trial 3: Summoner
Cold Crescent: Nova
Velvet Hammer: Firemoth
Golden Spade: Warhammer IIC
Trial 4: Timber Wolf

I got sick of dying on Golden Spade and having to start all over again, so I went with a heavier mech.

I'm sure someone can beat this.
