Hey all. Okay, so I've had this problem on every computer I've installed mech2 on with windows xp or vista. I've installed the game, patched it up to latest patch, and applied the xp patch found at this site: http://www.mektek.net/forums/lofiversio ... 89037.html.
The game runs fine, but when i use the mouse to look around, its almost like the game looses FPS. I noticed if i quickly flick the mouse from one side to the other, it only looses a few frames, and then the rest of the movement is completely smooth. I was wondering if anyone had a fix for this, as this will severely hinder my Speedrun that I'm planning on doing for this game. If needed, I can record a quick video of the problem. Thanks guys.

I think you need to be more specific. We need what version of the game you are using and your operating system with what service pack, cpu, ram, video card.
From your posting I can only surmise that it is a 95 version which can be a vanilla or Battlepack/Titanium....
At any rate I have never seen any reports of any lag with the mouse. You have a unique problem no one else has ever reported.
The best advice that I am able to give with this limited amount of information is to try the 3rd option which it does not look like you have tried.
)
Anyway, sorry that I cannot help with that limited amount of info.
My advice that I seem to give on every single thread go buy mech2 DOS.

Moth run I hope to challenge the one I finished? (Must be mech2 dos or Pentium to be a valid challenge. Titanium/Battlepack need not apply.severely hinder my Speedrun that I'm planning on doing for this game

If you're on a laptop, check the energy settings. I sometimes forget to do this myself.
