What codec did you use to create this? I have sound but no video.

I used x264

Grab ffdshow and it will solve almost all codec issues.

Strange... I have the latest divx installed. I wonder if the encoding was non-standard/beta too??

divx is different than x264, completely different.
x264 is way higher quality than Divx in general.
