I have owned MW4 for years. MekTek's MW4 so-called "free" release does not meet my criteria for free software - it may be free as in beer, but it's not free as in speech - so I see little reason to start playing MW4 now. Most of my spare time currently goes into the next MechVM release.

Note to self: stay logged on more then 2 min.
How is the VM comming? I'd offer you a hand, but I belive that would be like asking a baby to help you install an engine in a nascar.
MMPD we need a 1v1 soon. I'm rusty.

Two more issues to code, then hopefully by the end of the weekend I will be able to start testing it. Testing may take a week or longer, we'll see.

Free as in beer - it costs nothing
Free as in speech - you can do with it what you want. For software, this includes full access to the software source code and a licence that allows modifying the software. MekTek does not have the source code for MW4, so they cannot share it. Source code for MW4 would allow changes to MW4 on a very deep level.
So MW4 is free as in beer, but not free as in speech. I have long owned a license for MW4, so the free release changes little for me.
