If you just have the Pentium/Vanilla Edition of Mechwarrior 2 31stcc, then you could try using something called "SMKPlay".
Download it, and use it to open the .smk files in your smk folder. I tried this thing long ago, the videos played but I couldn't manage to get sound. could be just me.

yeah and then copy the video URL, and go to
www.keepvid.com if you want to keep it on your computer.
