So I was browsing the internet last night, when a sudden idea cross my mind. What if i had your mech machines voice sound be used for a ring tone. I look into it further by searching for the sound files when i came across a very interesting site.

Just so happens i saw a lot of familiar faces there. Small world I say. Anywho, would any of you gentleman know where i could find her voice sound clips.
example: "Enemy power up, detected".

i think it would be hilarious to have that has a ring tone.

there are several that would make good ringtones


right now mine is a sonar ping


and my computer start up is the mech start up sound, with "all systems nominal"

Skyfaller should have fixed SFL file playback from the MW2 games the next MechVM release (is that correct, Sky? )

I'd use Betty's mech-startup voice for my computer startup sound when I can get the fixed SFLs.

Well now to get me some sounds!

Its worth noting that there are a limited number of these voices associated with the installer on the mechwarrior 2 mercenaries cd. When I was a kid I copied these .wave files and used them in my startup sequence. They are a bit easier to get to than the ones in the gamefiles.
