but seriously, i got a nice mercedes on ebay right now, it's damn near mint condition, no one has bid on it for two solid weeks and i got the reserve at 2000 bux, there are like cars all around it with bids in crappy condition going for over 3000 what the hell?

yah I know the feeling. My ebay ventures never went very well either.
As I said though go ahead and post a topic in the general section.. i doubt it will get ya many more hits, but it is better than doing nothing at all.
