The Maze Inspection Type

Hey all, we have a new idea for making the maze more interesting, and it has been tested twice so far...

Basically the rules for the game are the following:

If a player gets 1 kill then they are allowed to inspect one pillar in the middle, but if the player overheats before he gets to the center then that inspection is lost.

Scenario 1:
Player gets a kill, inspects then overheats. This would follow that she would have to get two kills before being able to inspect another pillar.

Scenario 2:
Player gets a kill then dies... That player still can use an inspect after they regen.

This all seems to work for the most part, but it needs some tweaking I think.
The current suggestion is to make the requirements harder.
In another words if a player kills and then dies he/she loses that inspection.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on how this could be improved? Having a new stable gametype might be fun for a change.

I think this is a good idea. Sometimes it's hard to play scenarios because the rules are just kind of bad.
