DOS Netmech no longer a free download?

I can no longer find a free DOS Netmech download on the internet. Activision has apparently scrapped their mech pages. Gamespot demands your STREET ADDRESS before allowing a download! What happened?

You can download NetMech for DOSBox free of charge
here. Then after you download that and get that installed, you can drop by either this
IRC chat room or this
Java chat room to see if anyone wants to play a game. Have fun!

Yah, the old Activision pages are long gone except for on archive.org. I have a links page of all the old relevent mech2 sites of the past in the FAQ section. You may want to check it out just for fun.

What Kell said was right though. If you just grab those you are done.

I'm getting a page load error from that DOSBox Netmech download link. I tried the link in the "Resources" thread and also got the same error.

Radick:
Never mind. I found your file index through Google. It downloaded successfully. The link in the forum seems broken though.

no, the link is not broken it is just that not everyone can use a .nyud link for some reason or another.
To fix the link simply remove the .nyud.net
