Wondering which version a CD was...

Long (long) ago I owned a CD of MechWarrior that I can't seem to find anywhere anymore online. Unfortunantly I lost my original and bought the standalone titanium version, as it was the closest version I could find. Anyhoo, my very old CD WAS Titanium (the CD was silver and said titanium), and it only contained the original game on it (no GBL or Mercs) so it was a standalone. The kicker is that, unlike the titanium version I bought now (which has goofy mixed up music and levels) the old version had the correct music and level designs. For example, the second mission of the Wolf campaign was an ice planet, and didn't have random music in it. With Wolf mission 1 it had normal desert music as opposed to the night city music that my newly purchased version has. In my opinion it was the best of both worlds, as it had the updated graphics of titanium coupled with the correct planet designs and original music to each level from the old school versions.

Newly purchased "Titanium Windows 95 Standalone Edition":
-Wrong music (ex. city stealth music in desert levels)
-Planets are incorrectly designed (ex. previously ice planets being grassy)
-Good graphics level
-CD does contain full music tracks and game does play full tracks (none of the cut-off ends I hear titaniums have)

Old unknown Titanium version from the days of yore:
-Correctly modelled planet designs
-Music that fit the missions (not random)
-Silver Titanium CD Disk
-Somwhat good graphics (old school but there was a choice to enable texturing, which replaced the flat colors)
-No expansions included

I hate the fact that I lost that CD, looked eveywhere for it. This new titanium version is not what I remember the game being. Any thoughts? The kicker is that the CD was silver, otherwise the game seems to be a relatively standard old version of MW2...

You probably are talking about the Battlepack edition.
