MechWarrior 2: Resource Forum

Right, so I install Mechwarrior 2, here I am, happy as can be,blowing up 'mechs and all that.
So I went to sleep.
And when I woke up this morning Mechwarrior 2 was broken. Bummer.



It was working fine yesterday, I got to the first trial in Clan Wolf before I went to sleep. And now nothing will start.
Any ideas?

Use slugs hook instead of kontza's hack or slugs old patch.
Alternatively you could install mech2 dos if you have it on your disc. (To know if your mech2 version has DOS on the disc please see the offline/online list; probably it will be one of the first two if you have it.)

Sorry to say this happens frequently; it is the main reason I do not recommend mech2 95 anymore.
It works great for a month or a year; then it decides to just stop for no good reason.
We have tried tracking down the problem, but it is so random it is untraceable.

If you need help getting the wrapper to work please post back.
It may not work at all if what I am thinking has happend.

P.S. I see a StarCraft desktop icon. I have yet to find a gamer that does/did not enjoy SC.
