You most likely do not need to patch.. most are 1.06 out of the box. I believe.

I suppose I'll have to just use DOSbox, even though it seems confusing to me.

Patch didn't do anything anyways.

Edit: Oh wait, now I remember why I didn't use that DOSbox method in the first place. When I got to the "CloneCD" step it wouldn't let me write and iso/cue

What method of disk cloning are you using? Protected, non-protected, multi-media...? You may want to try a different disk-type copy method if one isn't working.

Also, it could be that your disk drive doesn't support the image making, I know CloneCD told me that when I was using an older Hitachi DVD drive in my laptop, so I used my mom's new Vista and it worked fine.
If you have another, newer computer, you may want to try and run CloneCD on that one and see what happens.

I don't know if that even matters. I just realized I was reading off the instructions on how to "Install under Vista".

I don't have Vista, and I already have the game installed. I just can't get it to run with sound/without randomly exiting every 10 minutes. And I have no idea what the heck I'm doing with DOSbox, so if you tell me to run it using that, you'll have to hold my hand through the process. Once again, I'm extremely handicapped when it comes to anything deeper than the basics of computers.

Sorry, but I'm not real skilled in it either. I just modder.

Alright, so the new issue now is that every time I complete a mission, the game exits.

Any solutions to this?
