Kell, lag is no excuse. All of us from the past dealt with that. It is not a disadvantage; it is an advantage.
People on 56k have a rotating shield of sorts which people on broadband lack. You just simply need practice.

No, burn is not intended. I am pointing out what I see and know from experience. Kell has excellent potential, but potential means alot of practice.

No excuse... I guess thats true if everyone does have lag...
But you have been playing for, what, 8 years online Radick? That's a huge difference compared to a month. But I am the oldest of 5, everyone wants their turn online. And along with that I have school work and a country to serve too. But I may appear online sometime in the not-so-distant future.

But do you think DOSBox lag would be good practice Radick? That sounds like something to refine the skills.

Only online play is good practice. There is no replacement for that. Lag shooting comes with time just give it some more.

I will endevor to get online and slay any unfortunate foe on NetMech when I find the time.

I remember playing in wireframe so much that sometimes I would dream in wireframe mode.....thats when i knew the addiction was complete.

3 mechs out lag shooting used to be normal....I even remember a few games when it was more like 6 or so.
