Actually i have seen all the mission details already; that is why i said so far I cannot prove your theory.
I have looked into the PRJ in the past with regards to this.

I have looked in the PRJ myself, as you may know from the "FREEBIRTHTOAD" cheat, the missions are code-named by color. For the mission "Pyre Light", it is code-named as "Yellow".
Well, I have looked at ALL objects in PRJ that belong to "YLLWBWD" (Yellow), and I have found no object that I do not remember seeing in that mission. Thus, I believe it is safe to say, that there is no tertiary objective on Pyre Light. :geek:

Hey Kell, totally off subject, you wouldn't happen to be referring to the Chattanooga area in your loc would you?

Okay SomeKid,

I am nowhere near Chattanooga, I am somewhere in the south corner of Tennessee, IN AN ISOLATED TENNESSEE VALLY, where nobody knows, yet half a mile from an interstate... I'm about a 15min drive from the redneck state of Alabama :lol: . Originaly, I lived up in the civilized north end of the state.

Why do you ask?

Everyone always refers to this area as the Tennessee Valley. Perhaps all Tennessee Valley areas refer to themselves as the Tennessee Valley?

Course, Southern corner, Tennessee Valley, just sounded like here. Southern corner, technically it is a long flat bar. Only got one even near Bama. Mine.

Okay, now, I have a whole new one for you all;

Where is the tertiary objective in the second Wotan Falcon mission where you escort a convoy, mission is code named "WHITE".

Eh? Eh? :P

I almost remember finding that once. However, it could have been the Sony Playstation version I was playing. In THAT game, there is some kind of facility in the hills just behind where the Timber Wolf and Nova are stationed at the beginning of the mission, and it is the tertiary objective.

As for Pyre Light, I always assumed that the targetable hulk of the firebase was perhaps intended to be a target of opportunity, and the programmers never went through with it for some reason.

Scorching Sand definitely has a nuke reactor behind the hill beyond and slightly to the left of the HPG uplink.

Silent Thunder has the Nuke Reactor, not Scorching Sand

As a modder, I found the firebase wreckage in Pyre Light to have no "health" rating, thus making it invincible.

And there are these things called area files (xxxxAREx.BWD), they define what stuff goes into the level.
I have found NOTHING outside what can already be seen in Pyre Light, or anything in the file that would indicate a tertiary objective. It does not exist! And Scorching Sand and that Falcon mission on the marshy Wotan level, I don't think so either.
