It's running under Ubuntu. When it gets ready for the light of day, I'll post here.
It has to be kept somewhat quiet, as Activision would likely take a dim view of such a thing.

Remind me the 3dfx edition with a wrapper, in best (because the 3dfx doesn't have those cool shadow and night effects).

So this is Mech2 actualy working on Linux? I have a friend who would love to try MW2 on his Linux.
What is it that you modified to make it run? Was it MW2.EXE, MECH2.EXE or what?

Col. Kell, I run it on Linux in Dosbox. The link above is to instructions about Dosbox, not Repomancer's native Linux executable.
