MW2 was the first computer game I ever played, and was just too awesome

Cannot install MW2 DOS
Grr... spent the last 5 hours trying to fix this game, with no success :evil:
Intel i5 661 @ 3.33Ghz
8GB RAM
MW2 Version - IBM CD-rom (Version 1.1)
Status - Wont even install.
Been trying to find work arounds (Virtual PC for win 95, MechVM) with no luck. Havent even been able to get into the game ...
