I walked away from things here a while ago, but I want you guys to know I am finishing concepts for a program which will automatically launch dosbox (with netmech) at a given time (based off a central server) so that players know and play when we are all playing.
I suppose it will use the current dosbox server we have for netmech games, but I will see if we can't get some p2p based connectivity as we'll to release mmpd from some worries.
Myg out.

Just out of curiosity, what programming language are you going to use? Souns like a cool idea!!
Re: New program in the works for the community.
I am sorta giving up games, so this program never got any attention.
Sorry guys. I am sure someone here can make it a community project.
Steps:
- Tray icon program with central server over TCP sockets.
- Update/sync then start dosbox with command prompt at que.

This is an excellent idea. I just hope that someone picks up the project soon. Maybe Col. Kell could get involved?

i believe MYG became a father a few years back, so i'm sure he had to shift his attention to being a family man, and maybe focus his programming efforts on work. I'm sure if you work as a Programmer, you kinda get burnt out to do more programming in your free/non-working time plus personal obligations
