FREEBIRTHTOAD didn't seem to do anything special. But I looked up cheats, and found a skip level code. I've cheated my way through each mission in the DOS version and noted which track is used in which mission.

Intro movie
Sounds like track 22, but it isn't actually playing a track - the sound is embedded in the movie file

Training Mission
Silence

Turkey Shoot
Silence

Cat and Mouse
Silence

Final Exam
Silence

Scalpel
Track02

Snake City
Track02

Back Door
Track10

Phoenix-Dawn
Track10

Blood-for-Blood
Track06

Crystal Storm
Track12

Final Strike
Track05

Dagger Strike
Track02

Paper Tiger
Track14

Fox Hunt
Track03

Dawn Watch
Track04

Snow Fort
Track18

Starlight Hunt
Track21

Glittering Gold
Track09

Dust River
Track17

Blood Cauldron
Track20

Arena 4-Cross
Track15

Arena Neon Grid
Track11

Arena Iron Skull Mountain
Track18

Warning Shot
Silence

Freedom Fight
Track09

Exodus
Track10

First Strike
Track12

Homestead
Track07

Dragons Teeth
Track18

Sleight of Hand
Track14

Ali Baba
Track11

Judas Kiss
Track17

Just cheated my way through Titanium Mercs. The soundtrack is *exactly* the same order. The only thing I noticed that conflicted with my notes is that in the mission Trojan Horse, there was silence instead of track02, but I double-checked DOS Mercs, and it also played nothing in that mission.

So for Mercs, all you have to do is take an image of the Titanium Mercs CD and replace the soundtrack with the tracks from DOS Mercs.

Now I cheated my way through Titanium GBL. I don't have DOS MW2 yet, so I can't install DOS GBL or look at its soundtrack order, but I can cross-reference each level in Titanium GBL with the corresponding DOS GBL track if applicable.

So below each mission name I've put down two track names. One for the track that Titanium GBL plays during that mission, and one for the equivalent track on the DOS GBL disc.

Trial on Alshain
Track04 - same

Defend on Mannedorf
Track09 - same

Patrol on Mannedorf
Track06 - same

Trail on Alshain 2
Track17 - Track19

Defend on Chandler
Track12 - none

Strike on Chandler
Track12 - none

Strike on Wolcott
Track07 - same

Circle of Equals
Track17 - Track19

Raid on Jeanette
Track15 - none

Defend on Jumpship
Track03 - same

Trial of Possession
Track13 - none

Defend on Alshain
Track14 - Track15

Trial on Alshain 3
Track04 - same

Underwater Strike
Track05 - none

Strike on Moritz
Track11 - none

Strike on Moritz 2
Track02 - same

Destroy Orbital Platform
Track08 - same

Bloodname Trial
Track11 - none

Bloodname Trial 2
Track15 - none

Bloodname Trial 3
Track02 - same

Bloodname Trial 4
Track04 - same

Final Bloodname Trial
Track06 - same

Ok, I am getting frustrated. Getting ahold of MW2 is proving to be way harder than it should be. Bought a copy of MW2 off of eBay, and they sent me MW2: Mercs. Bought *another* copy, and it had no CD track. A third copy came today, except it was MW4.

The first one said they'd give me a refund. The second one I don't think I have grounds to ask for a refund - I don't think I can fault the seller for not knowing that MW2 is supposed to have redbook audio. But I think I'll keep MW4 and not ask for a refund. I was going to hunt it down later anyway.

Ok, copies of MW2 DOS and Netmech have arrived! Now I can finally do complete analysis of the tracks.

DOS MechWarrior 2
26 music tracks, which will be referred to as "DM-02" through "DM-27," DM standing for DOS Mech2. All of these tracks are obviously original.

DOS Ghost Bear's Legacy
20 music tracks, which will be referred to as "DG-02" through "DG-21," DG standing for DOS GBL.
DG-02 through DG-10 are original.
DG-11 is DM-10.

Track27 is the first seven seconds of DM-05.
