Difference between Battlepack and Titanium MW2

Post by Sir MMPD Radick »

I will update this post as I find more information, because until now I was under the impression both were basically synonymous. It appears I was wrong.

Basically according to tyr, the versions are nearly the same, but Battlepack is only 8bit.

The titanium versions are 16 with with
the option to install the 8 bit version instead. If you install the 8 bit
version of mw2 from titanium then you have just installed the battlepack
version.
(Update: Confirmed, it is compatible because it is the identical version that is compatible.)
I could use a confirmation on this next one, there were reports on usenet that the DOS version of netmech on the Battlepack is compatible with netmech dos.....
I highly doubt that it is true, but if anyone could confirm or deny this I would like to know. I will check on it in the mean time...

DOS Netmech comes with the Battlepack but it is not the same as the
Battlepack Netmech.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
