MechWarrior 2: Resource Forum

So I'm trying to rebind my keys after an otherwise successful install.

It saves my keys as Custom 1, loads them fine too. Just doesn't actually USE Them when I'm in missions.

This is preventing me from using the Inverted Key switch as well

Suggestions?

If I am understanding you correctly you are saving the configuration then loading the configuration before playing correct?
That is odd.. i wish i could give you a suggestion but I have never heard of anyone having an issue with that when all the edits are done via the shell.
Well, maybe you could go the opposite way and edit the gamekey.map and keyboard.map yourself instead of the shell.. normally i don't advise that but it is the only idea I have atm.
Just make sure if you try that you back the files up first. The game is very picky about edits.
