Hi + Problems (Titanium no menu)

Post by yesihavetitanium »

Hi there, well I'm new here obviously. Anyway I have a problem, I tried Slug's Titanium patch and MW2 31st Century Combat works just fine except it won't accept any key commands, and I cannot bring up the menu screen, when I'm at the clan hall. I don't suppose anybody has a solution?

Also, is there a way to make slug's patch work with Mercs?

Yes I have, but it doesn't seem to want to auto-detect it. That's why I tried Slug's patch.
Also, which version do I download? There are two and it really doesn't explain on the installation guide which version does what. I assume the Win32 is for FAT32 Windows but neither seems to do the trick.

For titanium slug's is the only slug patch..
You could try kontza's method and that may work if you did not already try that.

It is very unusual that MechVM does not detect Titanium. It tests the size of <cdrom>:\install\16bit\mw2.prj. Known sizes are 64024206 (31stCC and GBL) and 51841737 bytes (Mercs). Do you have any idea why these tests failed on your system?

sorry for the late reply I've been kinda busy, I wouldn't have any clue why it wouldn't detect. If it helps I'm running XP.

Please check if there is a file <cdrom>:\install\16bit\mw2.prj on your CD, and please post the size of that file in bytes (context menu, "Properties").While the DOS version displays a menu when you right-click, in Titanium that menu appears at the top of the screen.
