I think this would be as good a place as any to report that I have had random, but strange "stalling" behaviors after mission completion of GBL under Windows 95 version using the hook when setting in-game music on.

Many of the glitches I witness can be healed by copying a fresh MW2.PRJ from the CD ...

Sometimes MW2 gets fed up with my double- and triple patching after a several rounds prjpp ...

yeah, but this problem occured way before prjpp. It wasn't a major problem but an annoying inconvenience. I saw what looked like a good thread to post this in, and it was separated to here. Its not a problem if I can't get it fixed ( I ran Windows Media Player while GBL ran ), I just thought I'd report this.

I've been wondering whether codec packs could be a problem with the Win95 versions of MW2. This would explain why it magically starts working again after reformatting, but stops working at some point.

one prob, I have seen it stop working on a fresh install without codec packs.
