Mechwarrior 2 - Titanium Freezes in Windows 98 Virtual Machine

I have been trying ways to get mech2 titanium to run, mainly because its the only physical disk version
of MW2 i have. So, i have tried XP that didnt work (VFX dll error, or something like that), So now i am trying to
get it to run on Windows 98, and every time i launch the window turns black and becomes small, and the whole
operating system freezes up leading to a restart.
