MechWarrior 2: Resource Forum

Grr... spent the last 5 hours trying to fix this game, with no success

Intel i5 661 @ 3.33Ghz
8GB RAM
MW2 Version - IBM CD-rom (Version 1.1)
Status - Wont even install.

Been trying to find work arounds (Virtual PC for win 95, MechVM) with no luck. Havent even been able to get into the game to see how it goes either because Virtual PC gives me a security error, and Mech VM doesnt want to make an image that DosBox can read (or me for that matter).

Suggestions? They would be VERY much appreciated

You need to create an image file of your CD. MechVM does not create image files. Please consult our install guide for details.
