Wanted: AGP/PRO Video Card

Post by Wetback »

I am in need of an older video card for a legacy development system that has an AGP/PRO interface. The current card is an ATI 9200 but is failing and I can't quite give up on the computer just yet. All I ask is that any presented card work and have a reasonably quiet fan.

I'm willing to buy/trade/pay shipping and you would be doing me a favor too.

I hope your not planning to play mech2 in dosbox on that wetback?
You would never get it working, need a powerful card and cpu.

Nope, I have a quad core for that sort of thing. :D

Although I do recall playing MW2 under DOS on a P75 and later purchased a P120 (which turned out to be a restamped/fake P100 masquerading as a P120) just to play NetMech! As I recall, it ran nicely on just 100'ish MHz too.

This box servers a limited functionality and I need to keep it alive for another 6 months or so. If the apps were not hardware dependant, I would virtualize the server and place it on the quad core servers. It's been crashing lately and the video card turned out to be the root cause so I need another to keep the life support turned on.

Never mind guys. I discovered the video card was over heating and replaced the fan. My legacy test system appears to be stable now and if it can live through the weekend, will have served it's purpose!
