Unseen mechs to return!

Well, good news everyone...

In 1996 numerous images originally licensed from several Japanese anime sources were retired from use within the BattleTech universe. Those illustrations formed the bedrock of the BattleTech 2nd Edition and BattleTech 3rd Edition Box Sets and were generally considered “fan favorites” across the board. These images—such as the Warhammer, Marauder, BattleMaster, Phoenix Hawk and so on—became known as the “unseen.”

After much blood, sweat and tears, Catalyst Game Labs is exceptionally pleased to announce the return of these “unseen” images.

Cool, but I'd be more inspired to see FASA and someone decide to go ahead and do MW5, and do it right.

The first thing they would need to do is meet with all the folks who actually played in the leagues during the first years of the kali mw2 clan leagues, and find out what makes a great game. Hint: it isn't graphics.

Fasa is no more. Both the roleplaying game maker and game development studio were closed. A number of follow-up projects by fans are on the way, and it's possible that one will take it to a professional level, but we'll see. On MW3 and MW4, two teams were working in parallel.
