I think mine was locking on with my LRM's behind a hill then aiming up to arch over it.

I really cannot say I have a favorite memory of mech2 itself.
Netmech on the other hand plenty of memories. My Blood Name trial in Jade Wolf being the most cherished memory.

James 3:5-10: My Reminder
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Mine would probably be finaly passing the gauntlet in the cadet training and finding out how to destroy the Falcon's comm base shield on the last wolf mission. (a few months back, I've had mechwarrior 2 for more than a decade. )
