I don't understand, what does moving have to do with getting a computer? Wouldn't it be better to just settle in your new place and then be able to spare time for research and comparisons? Buying under stress is never a good impact on purchase, it fogs the mind.

i could care less about windows 7 right:P

a quad core whatever i get will run it fine. what i dont know, is do i wanna go with a mid end quad, or go with a new ICore7

i need a mobo that will work with either 2 really good video cards, or one of those that is 2 cards in 1

least 4 gigs,,,expandable to 6 later for win7

probably 2 500g sata drives

onboard sound is fine

If I had to buy a system soon, it might look like what you describe here. Check if the mobo's chipset has passive cooling.

If you want best for buck, choose AMD. If you want max performance, spend more and take Intel. Can't tell you too much about graphics cards atm, haven't followed on it recently.
