Nice find. Yes, not a bad deal, but they are Windows versions if they're like the version of "Terror from the Deep" that they were selling before (which I bought about a year ago). It works fine for me in XP but the game speed (inside the normal game settings) has to be turned down quite a bit.

Personally I think DOS versions are to be preferred for maximum compatibility since DOSBox works so well these days.

Edit: By "maximum compatibility" I mean maximum future compatibility in particular, since one hopes that DOSBox will remain viable on new systems, while it's possible that support for older Windows program may lessen. You can see this already to a degree, e.g., the necessary "fixes" to get MW2 Win95 working in WinXP, etc. But at the same time, I realize "future-proofing" old games can be a bit silly ;). They are ephemeral, after all.

Apparently I was wrong -- http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... p?t=733169 -- it seems like they're DOS versions (when one exists)! So not bad if you don't mind Steam. Here's another (older) post (at a time when TFTD was still only a Windows version) -- http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... p?t=722203
