Ya Netmech is pretty much ready to go... although you probably want to install 31CC or a mech editor if you want to customize your own mechs.
31CC I run 1.1, although my disc is 1.0. It's a bit of a pain in the arse to patch, and requires dos skills, but I can walk anyone through that.
Mercs I run 1.06, although 1.05 is all you really need if you ever want to play Mercnet.
