Yearly Netmech Match Again

Post by EventHorizon »

Hello,

I am thinking of having a yearly netmech match soon. If you are interested in coming throw me a time and date that would be good for you. Then we can work around time zones, work schedules, and all that other stuff in real life that gets in the way of playing a fun game :)

Not to sound despondent, but you know the legacy of MechWarrior continues today; unlike a lot of the games we used to play back in the mplayer/kali days.

It would be very good to set up a MWO group and get in on some of the faction wars that are going on.

I agree with Myg, starting a MechWarrior Online group could bring new life to the forum.

You guys are probably right, only problem for me is that I can't run MWO.

An MWO group could work.

Faction wars kind of suck in MWO, but having a community of MW2 fanatics would be great. I know every group I've been with in MWO always had a few members who were quite nostalgic about MW2 but probably has zip clue on how to get it running.

Truth be told though, I would love having biweekly netmech games like we did earlier this year.

I've been working like crazy, and moving house every few months, so I have been struggling with keeping active here, but for what it is worth, if something can be arranged, I can probably stop by on the odd saturday for a Netmech/Mercnet match.

I'd like to play as well, both netmech/mercnet and MWO. The timezones just make things difficult. But for a few nights every month or so, I could trade some of my sleep to play.

If you mean netmech, the version available on this site. 31CC, GBL and Mercs pretty much out of the box. I don't know the versions of 31cc or GBL, but I know that I play mercs 1.05.

Just in case you missed the download for netmech, here it is:
