Alright, you guys probably will be really happy to hear this, or ticked that i just now found it.... but I found a copy of an old phpbb database backup from 2005.
Do you guys want me to try and import the posts and the users?
There is potentialy some nuggets in there lost to time, but at the same time I am sure that there is alot of useless posts.

its either import or no, archive means it stays in sql format which is useless.
