IRC
Anyone know a good IRC addon/extension for Google Chrome or Firefox? Preferably, Chrome... been giving Chrome a test drive.

i use Trillian, since it will connect to all major Instant Messaging services and as many irc servers as you want
it even groups the chat windows, so you dont take up alot of screen space

People still use instant messengers? lol I couldn't even tell you what my old AIM login used to be anymore.
I still have to hop into chat some day to say Hi. Are there still a bunch of people who hang around regularly or is it just by chance? I see the forum here seems to be sort of quiet.

yeah IRC still has chatters. during the day anyway. most of the time.

Ahh gotcha! Not sure when I'll ever get on... I've had a daughter since I was last actively hanging around so I'm usually chasing her around all day now that she can walk and her trouble making partner a 6 month old kitten. lol
