Mostly curious about the amount of support still needed for Windows XP ...
If you use several operating systems, you may post a list in reply to this.
What is the operating system you currently use most?

I'm kinda curious about this myself.
As i just read a polla few days ago that said 70% of betanews readers were on Windows 7.
Then again we aint Betanews, but it is interesting to see how much the install base has changed.

James 3:5-10: My Reminder
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Re: What is the operating system you currently use most?
Hey,
I dug up my old copy of MechWarrior 2, fired it up, and a couple hours later found this website...holy cow, this is great!
Anyway, the operating system I use the most is Mac OS X...but I play all (well, most) of my games with my WinXP bootcamp partition. I don't see myself upgrading to Windows 7 until my wife does (at which time I'll have to, in order to be the tech support). Maybe in about 2 years...
If you want to laugh, I'm playing MechWarrior now with my original Mac MechWarrior CD, on a 14 year old Mac OS 9 rig. Still works great! I'm guessing I'll be investigating the DosBox options real soon...
Thanks for a wonderful site!

I have 3 old desktops. I bought Windows 7 and realized that it can only run right on one of my machines properly (the others are just too old). The reason I haven't upgraded is mostly due to nostalgia for my older games and my innate stubbornness.
I just recently upgrade one of my machines off 98 a few years ago. I even tried KernelEx later on just to see how it worked - was kinda cool.
Got a laptop with 7 and I could upgrade my latest desktop with 7 but file-sharing became a bit of a hassle between 7 and XP...unfortunate.

I play the MechWarrior 2 trilogy in DosBox on Windows 8. I wonder why Windows 8 wasn't a poll option?
