I think I will leave it like this and start to texture it.

Looking closer at the model, I found that the fork-shaped legs intersect with the hip, so I made another change. It should be ready for optimizing the polygon count now.

Been doing some experiments with procedural textures ... the way I chose, it will continue textures nicely over seams. See for yourself. Still needs a little cleanup. And somehow I felt a mech called Bane needs crowlike feet.

Nice job. I guess its close to done then? My only opinion is that the tips of the guns should be black and not camo.

Done for now. I can easily create other color patterns now and will post them when I find nice ones.

That one looks much better! :)

Hmm, right now it looks like a stock MW2 model that's been hit with quad divide a lot--it's using a rather large number of polies for very simple shapes. A lot of the polies you are investing in cylinder facets and stuff could be invested in making the shapes more detailed and truer to the original illustrations. Compare with this image from MW3, which shows a much lower-poly model that manages to look much truer to the source material, even if its textures were removed:

The barrels look real nice. Are the ones on the arms the ones where 10 uAC2s pour out ammo?

@ woolie wool - I have never seen a mech in mechwarrior 3 that had the Smoke Jag insignia.
