Recreating the MW2 levels

I am making progress with recreating the MW2 levels. Next step is to get Mechs walking.

I have scripts that extract the levels, but the extraction does not fully work, so I have to adjust the object positions and colorize things. I recreate the skies by using screenshots as textures. One thing that helps a lot is taking screenshots from satellite view and putting them together to form a map, using GIMP. I've attached a map of Bouk Obelisk recreated from satellite view to demonstrate this.

I estimate that the Jade Falcon missions are about 80% complete. For the other campaigns, I only looked at a few levels to check that a similar process is going to work.

Awesome stuff! Is your code available somewhere? I'm a dev (though not usually in C/C++) and would love to see how you're doing this sorcery.
