I am still not sure increasing it would help much because anyone that is decent at jets can slow down the mech no matter how high it is so long as they know they will be falling as it will be recharging on the fall.

Thank you for your positive feedback np, and thanks for getting screenshots.
The pallete issue I don't know how to resolve. Except maybe to use a stock PLT1 file thats already used in netmech. MMPD and I encountered the same thing when I tried to resurect the Galuzza mineshaft map.

More for me to say about your posts, but i'm very short on time tonight and will have to pick up on it later.

I haven't had the opportunity to see it myself, but I think MMPD is saying one of the player mech spawn points is below the "asteroids" and on the ground below.

Congrats again on this project, great stuff.

Re: the colors, maybe it's not just the palette but something else, too? Beats me :).

Gonna get to work on a revised map. But it may be slow work. I have started school, and so in addition to what I already had before, I have this too. >_<

But when I do have the free time, I'll be revising this. Again, it will take a while. Just be patient. :)

cool. an online map sounds awesome.

maybe a map similar to the iceship from mercs could be made? this map makes it look like doing that is no trouble at all.

Well yeah. That would in fact be easier for me to make that than what I just made. But geez... it just takes so much time. I just don't have it anymore. Too many comitments. I've got more to give here, but between CAP, school and appointments... just not enough time.

BTW does anyone know where I can get a good free hex editor? My trial finaly went out :P

Best bet is to tear the PLT out of a map from MW2 that you like.
