Welcome to mech2.org, Serlestain.

We discused the pallete thing a while back. I picked the cave-like color scheme because if it was going to be up in space, it looked more natural (til it found to be glitched online). But it seems people would like it to be on the ground. If thats the case, there will be more color options that seem natural. I'll pick something from the netmech prj to keep anything glitchy from happening.

Still i need a hex editor. I'm out of commision right now. :(

What were you using? xvi32 is free, but I think I pointed to you that before and you found something better. If you still have that linux box, there are a number of hex editors there in convenient packages depending on your distribution.

oh yeah I remember that np... back when we were doing that jenner-with-the-tarrantula-head mod in netmech :) ... reason I didn't use that was because it kept crashing on my computer... I can try again though.
