A new version of MechVM is available for download here.
Brief list of changes:
MercNet is setup automatically when installing MW2:Mercs
For the Win95 versions, MechVM installs a file called _dplay.dll. If the Win95 sims do not work, renaming this file to dplay.dll often helps
Added support for GBL hybrid installer
Under Windows XP, DOS games can be launched using XP's DOS emulation or using DosBox
The "Play Game" button will ask for priviledges if required by the games
Native DOS game previously required to Alt-Tab to the console, now these games are launched in a separate window
Refactored CD detection and installers. In case of trouble, please upload a CD or install report
Experimental features can be enabled by removing the # before #Experimental_Features in MechVM.cfg. This will enable the experimental MechVM shell, a replacement for MW2's shell, which fixes some problems. News here:
Mission texts are retrieved from MW2.PRJ
For MW2-31stCC-DOS, MechVM shell supports editing Mechs
