Audio for Mechw2: mercs DOS

Okay so I have the DOS version up and running using the VM. How can i enable the audio? There is no music and/or sound effects. Also where can i find my saved games? I still have the Mw2:mercs CD

Open up the mercs folder in dosbox and open the setsound.bat.
It will lead you through setting up the soundcard.

Choose Creative Labs compatible or Creative Labs Sound Blaster Pro.
Those work the best.

As for the saved games... off hand I think they are located in mw2reg.cfg.. but i could be wrong. Been a while since i played mercs.
If Not try copying all of the .cfg files over. (backup of course first)

mw2reg.cfg ... correct for 31stcc and GBL, but for Mercs you want MERSAVE?.SAV, where ? ∈{0;...;9}.
