MechWarrior 2/Mercs/GBL - View Distance Modifier

I've updated the patcher so it doesn't ask for the location of the NET.PRJ or MW2.PRJ if you place it in the same directory, allowing you to update the PRJ files quicker.
MMPD, would it be worthwhile to add it to the downloads section?
Here are recommended viewing distances for MW2:31st (non-Titanium):
JF1 - Silent Thunder - 4km?
JF3 - Mirror Cage - 2km
JF6 - Bouk Obelisk - < 2km
WC2 - Flame Tongue - 2500m
WC6 - Sable Flame - 1.5km
WC11 - Acquiline Fire - DropShip visible from too far, staying with 500m maintains difficulty
WC13 - Cold Crescent - Complete crash for anything above 500m
WC15 - Golden Spade - 4km
All other missions worked fine for me with a far clipping plane distance of 8km. For GBL, only one version made problems: Raid on Jeanette, the beautiful underwater mission. Try 1km.
Another thing that might help is to turn off explosion chunks for the problematic missions. I'd care about a note if that makes a difference.
