I've updated the patcher so it doesn't ask for the location of the NET.PRJ or MW2.PRJ if you place it in the same directory, allowing you to update the PRJ files quicker.

MMPD, would it be worthwhile to add it to the downloads section?

Here are recommended viewing distances for MW2:31st (non-Titanium):

JF1 - Silent Thunder - 4km?
JF3 - Mirror Cage - 2km
JF6 - Bouk Obelisk - < 2km
WC2 - Flame Tongue - 2500m
WC6 - Sable Flame - 1.5km
WC11 - Acquiline Fire - DropShip visible from too far, staying with 500m maintains difficulty
WC13 - Cold Crescent - Complete crash for anything above 500m
WC15 - Golden Spade - 4km

All other missions worked fine for me with a far clipping plane distance of 8km. For GBL, only one version made problems: Raid on Jeanette, the beautiful underwater mission. Try 1km.

Another thing that might help is to turn off explosion chunks for the problematic missions. I'd care about a note if that makes a difference.

8k works fine on most maps as long as your inside of the general map area.

Great work, titanium mercs short view distance was hours away from really pissing me off.
Nice to be about to set it back to what the original mercs was though, so thanks!

I'm trying to get this to run, and i get a pop-up error saying

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.


and when i run it in cmd i get

The system cannot execute the specified program.



i do have _farpatcher.exe in the same dir as net.prj and MW2.prj

Sounds like a missing DLL.
The patcher requires Windows XP, possibly with SP2, at least.
Does that help?

I have a suspicion you need to recompile it with a non-student version of Visual Studio.... the error Cyril describes is the same one i get when I send other people my programs when compiled with my student pro version of VS. Cause I know for a fact Cyril has SP2 at least.

and on my old system,,where it worked, i had VS,,i dont have it on the new comp
