Speed of ppcs and Rifles

i just got hexedit 3.3 and iam a noob at this was wondering what code controls the ppcs and rifles velocity i was hopeing to show the community that ppcs and rifles could be faster with out them being over whemling sniper spams i wish to speed up the er-ppcs by 5% and the rifles by 100% makeing a ppc good choice for short to mid range combat and rifles for snipeing what do you all think?

You didn't mention which version you intend to mod. Search the .EXE or .DLL files for the weapon names. See if your hex editor can help you understand the data you see. Make changes, run the sim to verify what the changes do, and report back here, please.

netmech dos is what i wish to mod all i see is this ee ff stuff with some understable stuff on a box on the side any help?

For modding NetMech, Highlander is the one to speak to. He has produced a NetMech weapon patch. If you analyze the patch, you may learn how to do what you want, but please don't use this knowledge for cheating in network games.

highs patch really makes alot of the weapons that sucked in our hayday, viable for play in todays isp connections.

he has a gauss timber, take your leg in one shot 8-)

and i love the light PPCs and a med pulse.

the er large has a range of 2.5k, so it makes a great sniper weapon.

i wish we could get more people playing the mod.
