Hermit, I am curious, do you have a hex editor? If so, you can change one simple number in the mission scenario files (xxxxSCN1.BWD), and get the game to play any track you want while on a mission.

Which number? And where are these files? I don't see any of them.

Take a look at this pix:

the number highlighted in yellow is our magic number. That number tells the game what track to play when you are on a certain level.

And the word highlighted in blue is the name of the mission we are editing, in this case, AMY_SCN1, or "Amy".
When you are dealing with the SCN1 files, the first four letters of that mission fill in the name of xxxxSCN1.
For example, lets say you have the mission "Maroon", the name would be MAROSCN1. Or say the mission "Brown", that would be called BROWSCN1.
Sign in under the name "FREEBIRTHTOAD" in the sibko roster, you'll be able to see the mission names.

And these SCN1 files are in the file "MW2.PRJ", which is the main directory where you installed MW2.

Does this help?

I'm afraid I just don't see myself having free time for this kind of exhaustive research in the near future.

ok.. but all it is is just one number, nearly no effort is required.
you just type in the SCN name of the mission you are looking to change the track in, and you then see the number, change it, and thats that.
The only real time spent is downloading a hex editor to do this.

Should you change your mind, you can go to http://www.download.com, and type in the search bar: "Hex Edit".
