Hey I noticed when I installed NetMech that it used DosBox's icon for the shortcut. However, there is a NetMech icon located here:
Would it be possible for the installer to create the NetMech shortcuts using this icon instead?

I'm fairly certain that if you just go to the properties of the shortcut, there is an option to change the icon.
Once you find that, just navigate to the NetMech exe and select one of its icons.

upon fully re-reading my OP, I don't understand how you came to create your post............. it seems that the only part you read was "icon"

I don't know, it made sense at the time. I have no idea how I came to that answer.
I must have thought the answer was obvious X(

Maybe in a future build
