Alot probably dont remember me and Sailor Boy (DFA Specialist) because these characters were ALTs. We played on Mplayer using these alts but also played on Kali with different names. I got a couple questions....people still play? Also do you still need to "lead" a moving mech or has internet connection pretty much made this game point and shoot?

Some still play, but it goes up and down over time in numbers and frequency. We're in something of a trough lately.

Lag shooting still exists but it is much less, typically. Weapon travel time will always exist in MW2 though (bolt-style lasers, etc.), so a varying degree of leading is necessary, and of course jump jets still work too. Compared to MW4, it's nowhere near as "point and shoot".
