a not-so-newbie

I have already been playing the mechwarrior games in single player for quite some time before i discovered this forum.
My very first mechwarrior game was MW4 Mercinaries. My dad let me play it on his old windows 98 when i was 6 or 7 years old. I always played it with invulnurbility and all the other cheats enabled. When i was a few years older i stumbled across my dad's copy of mechwarrior 2 mercinaries while i was helping him look for something else and i installed it. By the third mission i was hooked. And for many years after MW4 just sat there gathering dust. A bit later on my dad brought me 31ist Century Combat and Ghost Bear's Legacy. For a good while those 3 games were pretty much all i ever played aside from a little bit of Mario and DKC. Then, on my 13th birthday. I got my own computer and discovered this wonderful little thing called the internet, And Youtube and Steam not long after. Once i got on Steam i started getting into TF2, TFC and Half Life and Quake 1 and 2 Max Payne.etc And those were what i mainly played for a while. But a week ago I suddenly felt a desire to blow up some mechs again. So i found a way to get them working again on my new laptop with dosbox and iso mounting. Then one day. I was fooling around on youtube when i disovered a video of a netmech match and i decided i wanted to get in on some of that action. So i clicked on the link in the description and i found this forum. And after looking around a bit i decided that i might as well join.

Welcome!
Good to have new people. Hop on our IRC channel and we'll get a match going. Mercnet would be fun as well.
May I ask which netmech video did you find?
