In replacing a ToG mission's WLD1, PLT1, and ST01 files, I was able to take a good look at this awesome map. This appears to be a real jewel in my opinion, I can see that the "ghost" walls and floors are a serious problem.
But,(I don't know about the drop points, the ST01 starting point seemed to work fine) all that really needs to be done is fix up the collision codes; record and find the names of the WTBs that you are having problems with, then copy and replace it's collision code with one from another OBJ tag with one you know will behave better.
It can be done. It just takes time. But to many people, time is expensive.
