Took my Son to this small Air Museum (near my house) on Easter Sunday.
I was really surprised on how big the Avenger is
I put some "titles" on some of the pictures, sorry if I didnt remember the Aircraft's Number and Designation (i.e. F-14 Tomcat)

Nice pictures, thanks! (The Mitchell is of course a B-25 and not a B-29. ) I especially liked the "aggressor" paint scheme pictures. I like the lines of the F-5E.

Re: Flying Leathernecks Air Museum
An air museum??? Do you know how much we CAP Cadets get out of aircrafts and aerospace?
I was at the Huntsville Space and Rocket center.. REAL big. But those were all mostly decomissioned war missles, and a giant rocket in the main building!
BTW, is that your kid in the red and white, Pepsi?

Heres some info; that plane was named after Brig. Gen. Billy Mitchell (who was practicly the forerunner of the Air Force). He is also named after the CAP Cadet program's 2nd achevment (9th promotion), Second Leutienant.npsbre wrote:Nice pictures, thanks! (The Mitchell is of course a B-25 and not a B-29. )

His head is shaped like my little cousin's. In fact the hair is the one thing that keeps him from looking like my cuz's back side.
